The New York premiere of “Citizen Chanteur” recorded and filmed live at the Metropolitan Room with Neostalgia Trio featuring vibrant Brazilian accompanists bassist Leco Reis and pianist, musical director and back-up vocalist Luiz Simas. Mixing old and new original material with refreshing re-interpretations of artists as various as Chet Baker, Claude Nougaro, Billie Holiday, Henri Salvador, Annie Lennox and Dalida, Pascalito delivered a heartfelt performance in English, French and Portuguese.
